Shenzi, Banzai and Ed - Mercs

Shenzi, Banzai and Ed as Anthromorphic Mercenaries. CHEAP anthromorphic mercenaries. Owned by Disney.

The base poses that I used for them actually came from other artists, which I then imported to MS Paint, recoloured, edited, added some things, took away others, edited some more, added a background, edited some more, thought up a tagline, and edited again. And let me tell you, recolouring a jpeg pixel by pixel is nothing like as easy as it sounds.

It's kind of like playing "Spot The Difference", because there's some big differences and a lot of small ones. One of the smaller ones is that Shenzi and Banzai are both wearing wedding bands, because originally the scene was going to be just them at a Las Vegas wedding. That was before I put in the handguns too.

And I thought up lines for them as well as the tagline.

Shenzi: "These aren't MY handcuffs! Look at how FLIMSY they are!"

Banzai: "My suit? What's wrong with my suit? I got MARRIED in this suit!"

And that's a real slogan that I found on the Internet on Ed's t-shirt. It was either that, or "I was beaten as a child".

I have more ideas for anthro versions of characters in various scenes, btw.
